Shipping Policy

U.S. Shipping cost is based on the weight of the item and its shipping carton size. Our site refers to this as Estimated Shipping Weight.

Some of our pieces are considered 'over sized', and for those, the shipping cost is typically based on dimensional weight.

You are responsible for any and all shipping charges arising from or in connection with your purchase of a Product unless another amount is agreed at the time of your order. The applicable shipping charges will be added to the amount charged to your account for Products purchased on the Website.

If an order consists of multiple items, they may be shipped separately depending on availability.

You should ensure that your payment and shipping details are correct at all times, otherwise any additional shipping charges that may be incurred if the Product is incorrectly shipped due to a late cancellation of your order or due to incorrect shipping details will be charged to your account and will not be refunded.

For 'Pre-Order' or 'Back-Order' Products, Products may not become available at all (in the case of 'Back-Order' Products) or may not become available for shipping for many weeks or months after you place your initial order (in the case of 'Pre-Order' Products). If or once (as the case may be) the Product does become available for shipping, we will begin to process your order and charge your order to your credit card on your account. You will generally receive a courtesy email update notifying you that the Product has arrived and is ready to be shipped and a credit card processing alert email, prior to the Product being shipped to you. However, it is your responsibility to check and read your emails, our newsletter and our Website for the availability and shipping date of Products.

International Shipping Policy

Shipping Method

Sidewalk Toys will only ship our packages via Federal Express (FedEx) or UPS. 

The preferred carrier for international shipments is FedEx, but we may use UPS services if costs are preferable. If International customers have  strong preference of carrier, then they need to contact us to let us know. 

How are the International Shipping Charges calculated?

International shipping charges are calculated by dimensional weight and country of destination.

  • You will be provided with a ship quote for in-stock orders during the checkout process 
  • Pre-order items will not have a ship quote available until seven days prior to its arrival into our warehouse

International Destinations

Customs fees, sales taxes, etc., are not included in your purchase price and may be charged by your countries customs office. In some cases, these duties and customs fees are collected by the carrier. 

It is your responsibility to investigate the amount of taxes and duties you will owe prior to your shipment. Sidewalk Toys uses the harmonized code that we have been told is appropriate for our products into your region. Your customs office has the power to change this code on their own. If you feel that your final code / tax is not correct, then you can contact the carrier and/or your customs office directly to request a review.

If a package is refused due to excessive import fees and duties, you will be responsible for any return shipping fees that the carrier will charge Sideshow to return the package. 

If Sidewalk Toys is unable to have the item returned due to a package refusal a refund will not be issued.

If something isn't right with your order, please CONTACT US.  Often times, we are able to help you, and it will be faster than processing a 'refused package' back into our warehouse. So please weigh your options before refusing a package, that may incur charges. 

You Changed Your Mind

We can help you return it through the proper channels. If you refuse a package in the US, please understand...you will be responsible for all shipping charges. Once the collectible is back in warehouse, we will refund you -less any applicable return shipping charges and non-refundable deposits.

International Customers

If you refuse a package, resulting in the return and/or abandonment of your order... you will still be responsible for all VAT Fees, Import fees, Return shipping costs and Abandonment fees. These fees will be deducted from your refund. If greater than the product(s) price, Sidewalk Toys may bill you for the balance.

Ship Quotes / International Fees

We can provide you with a quote prior to the item shipping. If you are an international customer, we suggest that you also contact your local customs office for a quote on VAT or import fees as well.
